New Compensation Functions for Efficient Excitation of Open Planar Circuits in SDM
The spectral-domain method is a very fast and powerful technique to analyze planar microwave circuits. However, available techniques for simulating the excitation of open planar microwave circuits are not very effective at relatively low frequencies. In this paper, new compensation functions are introduced, which correctly model the excitation over the whole microwave frequency region.
متن کاملA New Method for Time-Delay Compensation in Control Systems
In this paper a new method is introduced and investigated for removing the destabilizing effects of time-delay parameter in control loops. The concept of the method is taken from the knowledge concerning the dynamic behaviour of irrational transfer functions (Ir-TF), which is discussed and investigated elswhere in frequency response domain and is explained briefly here. Ir-TFs, which are we...
متن کاملNew Clock-Feedthrough Compensation Scheme for Switched-Current Circuits
An improved clock-feedthrough compensation scheme for switched current system is proposed. Both the signal dependent and the constant clock-feedthrough terms are canceled by using both nMOS and pMOS current samplers and by adopting a source replication technique. The proposed current memory cell was fabricated with 0.6m CMOS process. Both experimental and theoretical results on clockfeedthrough...
متن کاملNew Efficient Majority Circuits for the Computation of Some Basic Arithmetic Functions
We construct constant-depth majority circuits to perform iterated addition, multiplication, powering, and multiple product computation. Our results indicate that unit-weight majority circuits are almost as powerful as threshold circuits with large weights in computing several important arithmetic functions, while being considerably less costly to implement. In particular, we construct circuits ...
متن کاملEnergy-Efficient Threshold Circuits Computing Mod Functions
We prove that the modulus function MODm of n variables can be computed by a threshold circuit C of energy e and size s = O(e(n/m)1/(e−1)) for any integer e ≥ 2, where the energy e is defined to be the maximum number of gates outputting “1” over all inputs to C, and the size s to be the number of gates in C. Our upper bound on the size s almost matches the known lower bound s = Ω(e(n/m)1/e). We ...
